One of my favorite regions is the Caucasus– partly because I spent a year living in Armenia! You can read about the best places to visit in the Caucasus here.
I have also spent much time in Central Asia although most of my travels there have kept me in the same countries! I have lived in Kazakhstan and know a lot about the country which you will find in the resources available on the site.

My travels have led me to South Asia and Southeast Asia on more than one occasion and it lures me back for its flavorful and complex cuisine (and hundreds of other reasons!).

The former USSR and Eastern Bloc used to be one of my favorite regions in Europe, so I have a lot of information about my extensive travels there on the blog.
I have been living in Germany for 10 years, and while I split my time between Finland and Germany these days, I have a lot of information about traveling throughout Western Europe on this site!
I am from Virginia in the United States and have traveled my home country extensively, visiting 45/50 US states. I have also traveled numerous times to Central America and have embarked on a few trips to South America.
The Caribbean is one of my favorite regions, so I also have quite a few travel guides on the blog from the islands!
