  1. Haha I love how I completely understand everything you’re talking about here! Funny story about norwegians being shy of speaking english; when my american exchange student friend Berit first came here, my friend Matilde refused to talk to her because she said she couldn’t speak english. By the time Berit left, Matilde had become one of Berit’s best friends and constantly spoke english. And about the drinking, I think that is norwegians way of getting out their immaturity since they are so mature the rest of the time, and unfortunately this is stupid and it does not get better with age. My parents’ friends in their 30s-40s-50s still drink like that. Stupid if you ask me!

  2. i love your observations and they are truly interesting! i like the fact that you think they are all beautiful people, no matter what size they are :)

  3. I couldn’t wait to read this, and was not disappointed. I think when you respect someones customs, it helps a lot!

  4. How do you talk to people if they shy from speaking English? That’d be way intimidating. When I was in Paris, attempting to remember HS French, the locals would just laugh and speak English.

I want to visit Norway, what month is the nicest weather wise?
