  1. Great observations, and very fun to read. And I agree, nothing grosses me out quicker than a pretty girl with a cig in her mouth. ICK! (well, it’s unattractive on anyone really.)

I watched an Anthony Bourdain recently and he went to Scandinavia and wouldn’t stop gawking about all the hot chicks. What a lush.

  2. loved this post! i’ve never been outside of the US (no, i don’t really count mexico or jamaica since they’re so commercial) and love all your posts about the country. i tell my mr all about your adventures, i’m truly fascinated!

  3. Since we (u and I) come from North America we’re used to seeing a lot of multi-culturalism and individuality. But I’ve noticed in all my years traveling to Greece that when you’re in a smaller, homogeneous country- things tend all start to look the same! Like in Greece everyone (for the most part) is the same ethnicity, same religion and they ALL speak the same language. Physically there is a bit of diversity but many people have the same traits. I’m sure Norway is the same is a lot of ways (blonde hair, language, fashion etc!)

  4. This is awesome! I’m always so intrigued to hear about what other cultures are like. The fashion part is definitely interesting. We have our trends here in America but a lot of people still do their own thing, or only take to certain trends.

It’s also so interesting to hear about Scandinavians and their beautiful skin!! What’s the trick? :)
