Tasty Coffee Shops and Cafes in Ciutadella, Menorca
1. Bubu’s Corner
Bubu’s Corner is a small cafe and concept shop located in the heart of Ciutadella, not far from Plaça de Senplaxada. The Ciutadella coffee shop has an array of espresso-based drinks, as well as matcha options, cold brew, and tea.
I got a simple flat white (it was €3.50), and it was delicious! So delicious that I went back another time for a second one and to buy some more knick-knacks that they sold in their shop. Bubu’s Corner also has a menu with some small options like sandwiches, salads, and sweet treats.

As mentioned above, I loved the concept shop part of Bubu’s Corner. Initially, I bought a cute claw clip there, but on my second visit, I bought a few more items (they have a cool sticker and journaling section).
Bubu’s Corner is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 1:30pm. You can find them at Carrer del Nou de Juliol 17.
2. Better Coffee
It’s pretty much all in the name. Better Coffee is a cafe and espresso bar located across the (narrow) street from Confraria De Jesús Natzarè. This place was pretty packed when I went there so I just grabbed a to-go flat white, which was €3.50.

I enjoyed it so much I ended up back that day (and multiple times throughout my time in the city). They rotate the espresso, which I found fun as I was able to try different beans on different days. Better Coffee also offers iced drinks like lattes, matcha lattes, and cold brew.
Better Coffee is open from 9am to 5pm daily except on weekends when they close at 1pm. They are located at Carrer de la Purissima 5.
3. La Reina Specialty Coffee
I have to be honest, my flat white at La Reina was my favorite coffee I had while in Ciutadella. This small cafe and eatery is situated right beside Bar Imperi (I ate here several times on my trip) at Plaça des Born and is one of the best places in the city to grab a coffee or drink.
Their menu contains sandwiches, smoothies/juice, matcha, and espresso-based drinks. My flat white was €3.50 which is pretty on par with most places around Ciutadella.

There is a large terrace as well as limited indoor seating. You can find La Reina Specialty Coffee at Plaça des Born 3. They are open daily from 9am to 3pm (except Sunday and Monday when they close at 2:30pm. They also reopen later from 5pm to 11pm every day except Sundays and Tuesdays.
4. Catedral Coffee
Across from the Ciutadella Cathedral sits Catedral Coffee, a cafe that is a must-visit when visiting the Menorca city. They offer a variety of drinks from iced coffees to mango matchas to smoothies (and beyond). You can also head there for an açai bowl.

Whenever I went there, I just ordered a simple flat white, which was €3.30.
You can find Catedral Coffee at Plaça de la Catedral 3. It is open daily from 7am to 9pm but is closed on Sunday.
5. Nibs
Nibs is a health-conscious cafe and coffee shop located at Plaça d’Artrutx in Ciutadella. They offer a wide array of things to eat and drink… from granola bowls to vegan focaccia-based dishes to generous portions of salads (you definitely get your money’s worth!).
And fortunately, they also have a pretty solid coffee selection, with the daily beans displayed on a sign at the front entrance. I got a flat white to-go on my first visit and it was €3.50. It was creamy and delicious.

I enjoyed it so much that I made a return visit the next day for another coffee and to enjoy their breakfast menu. I ordered an avocado-lime sandwich (which was avocado, tomatoes, and a poached egg) and another flat white. It was the best way to start my last full day in Ciutadella!
You can find Nibs at Plaça d’Artrutx 7 in the heart of the city. They are open daily from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
6. Bloome by Sasha
This beautiful cafe is not located in the center of Ciutadella but I wanted to put it in this guide anyway, as I think it is worth the visit, especially since some of my favorite things to do around Ciutadella are in the cafe’s vicinity!
Bloome by Sasha is actually a Barcelona-based eatery that opened their third location in Menorca. It specializes in healthy food and drinks and I ended up going there twice in one day after exploring the nearby area a bit.

For breakfast, I got a pitaya-mango bowl (my partner got an açai bowl) and a flat white. The coffee was €3.10, which made it a bit cheaper than the coffees I had in Ciutadella city center. When I went back after exploring Pont d’en Gil, I ordered a kombucha while my partner drank a smoothie.

Everything we ordered there was delicious and it was worth the effort to get there. To reach Bloome by Sasha, you can take a €10 taxi from Ciutadella center. Or, you can walk (it is around 3km). I would definitely opt to walk one way, as you can see beautiful beaches and coves like Sa Farola and Cala en Brut (my fave!) on the way.
Bloome by Sasha is located at Avinguda Pont d’en Gil Los Delfines. They are open daily from 9 am to 5pm.
Bonus: Bar Imperi
Bar Imperi was one of my favorite cafes, restaurants, bars… whatever it is… in Ciutadella. This spot opens at 7:30am and closes at 1:30am (except on Sundays when it is closed). It was often the first place I went to in the morning since it opened early and I would grab a sandwich and sometimes a coffee.

While the vibe is much different than the other spots on this list, if you want a place loved by locals and tourists both, and a place that is usually open, you can always count on Bar Imperi.
You can stop by Bar Imperi at Plaça des Born 5.
