If you’re visiting Hydra, you will want to likely stay near the port if you’ve got heavy luggage or want to be near the ‘action’.

Everything in Hydra is more or less concentrated around the main port.

There is an intimate balcony where you can enjoy sunset drinks overlooking the old and narrow alleyways of the town.

Located in the Kamini area of Hydra, this gorgeous Airbnb is part of a larger property right on the sea.  The historic building was once a tannery in the mid-1800s and is not completely renovated for your pleasure.

The studio apartment isn’t large but it is perfect for two people. There is also an additional baby cot upon request.  

The kitchen is well-stocked and includes a large fridge, stove, toaster, and coffee maker.  The guests have permission to use the yard that has a table outside.  There is also a door that guides you to the dock down below.

The house has two internal courtyards and is a stone’s throw from the home of Leonard Cohen. 

Since it is located so close to town, you will be able to go to the supermarket (10 meters away) that remains open on Sundays.  

Spilia and Hydronetta Beaches are close by and Kastelo, a fine pebble beach, is also in the vicinity. 

The property will transfer the luggage during arrival and departure for the guests.

While the area is calm that you will be staying in, the port is where all of the ‘life’ is.

Located right in the heart of Hydra is this gorgeous Airbnb that is located inside of a historic house that dates all the way back to the Ottoman empire.  It is right across from a historical school of the fine arts and a minute from the home of Pavlos Kountouriotis, which is now a renowned museum.

The distance into the town is small and you can set off to the supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes there quickly. There is one bedroom and a common space with a sofa bed.

This 150 square meter home is divided into two floors and is simply a divine place to stay in Hydra.  One of the three bedrooms has 2 twin beds (can be pushed together to make a double). The other two bedrooms have queen beds each. There are two terraces; one on each floor.  

This gorgeous Hydra Airbnb is less than a minute’s walk to the port.  It was built during the 19th-century but has recently been renovated and it is a new rental on the island.

There are sea views and the space is 110 square kilometers.

The house is anywhere from 7-10 minutes from the port and please note that reaching the accommodation in Hydra requires going up quite a few stairs. 

Once there, you will be greeted by sensational views and have access to the entire house and the balcony.

The air conditioning unit is on the second floor as the downstairs area remains relatively shaded and cool.
