One of the best and most popular national parks is Acadia in Maine. This is a guide to the best Airbnbs in Acadia National Park (and the best Airbnbs in Bar Harbor and the surrounding area)!
Many people choose to visit Acadia National Park for its beautiful coastal hikes and Atlantic views. The Maine national park is absolutely spectacular and it is best seen over a few days and is a must if you have two or three weeks on the East Coast.
Acadia National Park is on the unceded land of the Wabanaki people (particularly the Penobscot Nation and the Passamaquoddy Tribe). We ask you to join us in acknowledging their community, their elders both past and present, as well as future generations.
We also acknowledge that Acadia National Park was founded upon exclusions and erasures of many Indigenous peoples, including those on whose land these US National Parks are located.
⇒ Do your research before visiting National Parks and places in the US. Native Land and Whose Land are good starting points.
⇒ Hire Native guides when possible and encourage National Parks and government organizations to start hiring them.
⇒ Donations matter. Part of the proceeds from this blog is donated monthly to the Native Women’s Wilderness.
In order to best see the park at a slow pace, it is recommended to stay overnight. These Acadia Airbnbs will allow you the chance to see both the sunrise and sunset in the national park.
It doesn’t matter whether you visit Acadia in winter or in summer – there are so many things to do! This guide also gives some recommendations for Bar Harbor Airbnbs that will allow you to stay outside of the park a bit.

Should You Stay at an Acadia National Park Airbnb?
There are many options for how to enjoy an overnight stay in Acadia National Park. You can go camping, stay at a hotel, or, as this guide suggests, take advantage of the many Airbnbs in Acadia National Park.
One fantastic thing about staying in an Airbnb in Acadia is that it allows you to be close to the park or inside of it so that you can wake up and watch one of the earliest sunrises in North America.
Another perk of Acadia and Bar Harbor Airbnbs is that you can head back to the rental after a long day and relax and cook an easy meal. Maine can be a bit expensive and while you should enjoy a few nights out at restaurants, it is also nice to enjoy your evenings by a fireplace or in the comfort of your own space.
Acadia National Park is one of the best destinations in Maine (and in the United States as a whole!)and there are so many cool Airbnbs that help make it even better!
